Google Disappear Norman Finkelstein’s Site

Both Jews san frontieres & Philip Weiss have discovered in the last few days Norman Finkelstein’s site has been disappeared from Google search results, you still get other sites with relevance to him and his work but not his own-

http://www.normanfinkelstein.com/

So what gives? Mistaken blacklisting or deliberate action?

Strange. I googled http://www.normanfinkelstein.com and you woult THINK it would come up #1… even my pathetically unknown site comes up #1 when I google it.

    suspicious

It’s definitely been got at, but whether this is with intent has yet to be established, but given Dershowitz’s methods and the lobby in general it’s very possible, or just a disgruntled google minion with a Zionist bent.

I am frankly outraged at this blatant censorship. I and others have posted news of it on indybay.org, written letters to local papers, and hope to see some mainstream coverage of this situation. What other anti-zionist information is Google not letting us see?

    • RickB Says:

Such is censorship, we don’t know! I guess the judicious use of other search engines will help in offsetting any kinks in googles approach. And hopefully this will get attention and be rectified. If google follows the US political establishment and becomes prey to the same lobbying it will lose its usefulness. The net is the earth not any one nation and it’s allies, however belligerent.

His site is the first link on the search page. I make no assumptions about its past status, but it is there.
