Off You Fuck- Iraqis United On Repelling The Invader

Iraqis of all sectarian and ethnic groups believe that the U.S. military invasion is the primary root of the violent differences among them, and see the departure of “occupying forces” as the key to national reconciliation, according to focus groups conducted for the U.S. military last month. That is good news, according to a military analysis of the results. At the very least, analysts optimistically concluded, the findings indicate that Iraqis hold some “shared beliefs” that may eventually allow them to surmount the divisions that have led to a civil war.

That is some funny shit right there.

Outside of the military, some of the most widespread polling in Iraq has been done by D3 Systems, a Virginia-based company that maintains offices in each of Iraq’s 18 provinces. Its most recent publicly released surveys, conducted in September for several news media organizations, showed the same widespread Iraqi belief voiced by the military’s focus groups: that a U.S. departure will make things better. A State Department poll in September 2006 reported a similar finding.

So y’know leave and reparations OR continue as now and if you still want to use analogies from World Wars (looking at you my neocon chums) guess what-

Hey, you started it.

    Well, on to Pakistan …
They bastards had no chance in Iran … so they are fucking Pakistan now!
It was almost last year that my husband said, in spite of what it looks like, Iran is not the one they will poop up next year, it will be Pakistan … he was right!

  2. RickB Says:

She’s back! And swearing like a sailor!
    Hey Naj,
I think they have ample maleficence for many countries but yeah they will have to concentrate on Pakistan as their scaredy-cat electorate see Pakistan simply as:-
place we have no idea where it is but terrifying Al-taliban-islamofascismoists live there and will seize the nukes and blow up our malls if we don’t have a strongman dictator loyal to us oppressing the place-
I expect Israel will keep bringing Iran up but Bushco will be like a harried parent- ‘Ok in a minute just let me sort out this mess first, oh now come on don’t cry, here have a few billion, go play with your settlements, yes and I’ll come and see the wall you made, just not right now, ok?’.

Even as the bulk of their military are quagmired in Iraq which had nothing to do with anything except possess lots of lovely oil. A vicious karma for allowing an absolute moron and his neo-con puppet masters to seize power in 2000. A cabal that let 911 happen because it worked as a catalyst for what they already had planned. They already have agreements for increasing US forces in Pakistan, they will be adding a zero to the end of the troop figure numbers now.
ps. I can’t help think that the shit always hits the fan a few weeks after ‘death squad’ Negroponte visits a country. Even if he doesn’t do anything he’s like a bad luck charm at this point.

    Imagine a perfect world.
    It has no arabs.
Camels can walk around without pain.
They were called the ship of the desert…
..becasue they are normally filled with arab semen.
I look forward to a world where a ljttle boy says:
    What is an arab?

  5. RickB Says:

You express the view of a genocidal racist and an unfunny juvenile one at that. You might want to ask yourself why the obsession with Arab’s semen and interestingly you include a little boy in your eliminationist fantasy. I think you have revealed an awful lot more about yourself than you might have wished. Still I’m sure there are lots of forums for Nazi paedophiles, this however isn’t one of them on the other hand have you considered suicide at all?

  6. ralfast Says:

G…I wonder where you left your brains?

  7. adam Says:

If you Hate AMERICA then vote for barack (i love terrorists) obama, BUT IF YOU LOVE BEING A FREE AMERICAN THEN VOTE FOR JOHN (I KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON) McCAIN.

  8. RickB Says:

Does it make you sad that everyone laughs at you?

  9. ralfast Says:

    Brains, he has none….

  10. DavidGt Says:

RickB, your so right! I mean, sure you suck at spelling and grammar, but you are very worldly, especially since the U.S. is just swimming in Iraqi oil.
No, seriously though, you’re a fuck-stick. I’m assuming that you either live with your parents and have never been to the Middle East, or you’re 12 years old, reciting the crap your crazy uncle tells you when he’s touching you under the covers.

  11. RickB Says:

Nice that you agree I’m right, you may want to parody and the adoption of idioms and er, read the rest of the blog. The US and it’s poodles invaded a country using lies about non existent threat, killing over a million people and deliberating destroying its infrastructure to facilitate a year zero style implementation of neoliberal fundamentalism transferring massive amounts of public capital into the private sector, generating private profit, corporate expansion and accruing public debt to further provide pressure to cut public spending domestically while also putting the entire population under surveillance and denying basic and ancient rights. Or in short, classic imperialism hybridised with global corporatism.
But well done for taking the bait of the war-on-terror, Al Qaeda!!!! there’s one born every minute.

  12. harpymarx Says:

So DavidGT you have to visit the Middle East before you can venture an idea. How weird. And sad that you can’t apply any reasoned arguments to the debate instead you resort to sick insults.

  13. DavidGT Says:

Please let me know what the lies were about those non-existent threats. Coalition forces did not deliberately destroy key infrastructure, unless it was necessary against the opposition. As Collin Powell said, “You break it, you buy it.” Those were the sentiments prior to the invasion, and no one was interested in destroying a country simply to have to rebuild it at the expense of billions of dollars.
As for surveillance on its citizens, the U.S. government cannot eavesdrop on U.S. citizens on a whim, they need a warrant. The United States has issued new regulations to expedite the process of having to listen to non-U.S. citizens within the Continental United States, and they must be on a terror watch list.
If the “lies” and “non existent threats” you’re talking about are weapons of mass destruction, or the lack of, then it’s hard to see how you can say they were not there. We can all agree that they were there during the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s, as they were used on the Kurds. Prior to the invasion of Iraq in 2003 Russian troops were utilized to move stockpiles of weapons out of Iraq and into Syria and Lebanon. While you may disagree, there is one final fundamental point, which is if I threaten you and tell you I have weapon, you would probably assume that I do. Regardless of whether it was hot air or not, the Iraqi government claimed that it did, in fact, have stockpiles.
And harpymax, the answer to your question is no, there is no reason for someone to have to visit the Middle East before coming to their own ideas. We took Iraq at their word, as far as having these weapons, the same way you have never been to the Middle East but take your sources at their word in order to form your own opinions.
You can disagree with the war, for whatever reason, but you can’t adamantly say that there were no weapons of mass destruction, and that the pre-war intelligence was a lie.
That said, I believe I was talking to RickB, harpymax, so please be quiet unless you have something legitimate to add. What is your “reasoned argument”?

  14. RickB Says:

David, that is utter fantasy, where do you get this stuff?

  15. DavidGT Says:

Good rebuttal, RickB, good rebuttal. It’s apparent that you are very selective with the whatever means of information you choose to listen to; anything that doesn’t fit your “Bush lied, people died” motif must be utter fantasy.
I personally can’t prove to you that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction anymore than you can prove that they did not. I do know, however, that Iraq claimed to have them, and did have them at one point. Your response of my argument being fantasy is weak. I can’t change your mind, but at least I seem to have proven my point to hold more validity over yours, as you haven’t even provided a basis for your information that the military has killed millions of Iraqis, pilfered oil, and that pre-war intelligence was a lie.
I can’t change your mind, but with a mind like yours, its not really a loss to my cause.
In the end, I’m satisified knowing that I’ve done much more to support the war than you have rambling on against it over an internet forum, and even that’s a bit of a laugh.

  16. RickB Says:

I don’t have to prove they didn’t the weapons inspectors already did that, the death toll has been established by the same means accepted in many conflicts, odd that this time the methodology is questioned, blood on your hands does enhance denial. Your entire comment is projection, you don’t need debate you need therapy. Consider this your first session, you owe me $100! (pricey but good).

  17. WillE4 Says:

No, a very small handful of weapons inspectors weren’t able to find any caches in a country the size of Texas. big surprise!

Let’s put Hans Blix in charge of America’s national security and take his word for it. We should’ve taken Saddam’s word of honesty as well (forget about the 17 UN resolutions he defied, that’s far from the point and shouldn’t affect his moral integrity one bit)

Russia can’t account for 84 suitcase sized nukes since the fall of the USSR…does that mean they don’t exist? Under your logic, they don’t and never did.

Plus, you’re rebuttal still doesn’t account for the fact that at one time, they unarguably had WMDs. I guess the genocide of the Kurds didn’t really happen. Or maybe all the remains of WMDs we’ve found didn’t exist either. OHHH and then there was the Iraqi air force General who told us they were moved to Syria. He must be lying..unlike Blix and Saddam

  18. usmcwillmo Says:

oh, and I enjoy how you attack DavidGT as needing therapy, when you’re little come-backs fall short of any substance and merely attack on a personal level. I never knew the ignorance of a liberal could be so amusing!

  19. RickB Says:

WillE4 & usmcwillmo are you good friends, as you share an IP address.
I do not argue your worthless points in the same manner one does not argue with someone insisting the Earth is flat.

  20. usmcwillmo Says:

Yes, i wasn’t trying to hide it. I didn’t want to use WILLE4, you can also tell by the way I’m like “Oh, and…” as an extension from my first post. The e-mail addresses I supplied for both names are the same as well. What is your point?

If you are going to dismiss everyone who disagrees with you as “ignorant” then why debate them in the first place?

  21. DavidGT Says:

You’re right, my argument makes no sense, similar to the way in which you provide half-assed debates; you have no foundation for anything you say. It’s more difficult to debate with a moron than it is to understand someone with a completely opposing view. I mean, look at the flat-out dumb shit you say:
“you may want to parody and the adoption of idioms” what the fuck are you even talking about?)

It’s not even just the ridiculous (and somewhat comical) ramblings here, but all over this site that prove, in the end, that there is a shred of wisdom in your nonsense. When it comes to explaining things, you simply cannot, since your global perspective is on par with someone who is insisting, without any evidence or substance, that the Earth is flat.

Why would you go on the internet and rant about your beliefs and “facts” that you know about, but when people oppose you, you have no response other than personal attacks. You apparently cannot defend your views, and have conceded any semblence of a logical argument to your opponent

In closing, in your own words once again “Does it make you sad that everyone laughs at you?”
I will be awaiting a short witty personal attack from you’re enlightened mind.

  22. RickB Says:

Oddly usmcwillmo & DavidGT now share an ip.
Ah yes you caught an omission there thanks
    it should read-
“you may want to research parody and the adoption of idioms”

Again with the projection, that’s now $200 you owe me.

  23. usmcwillmo Says:

I expected nothing less than the intellectual masterpiece you responded with. And davidGT isn’t the same person as me…him and I just use the same office but seperate computers. You are one very observant blogger!

  24. davidgt Says:

Well, you may not know anything about the topics on your own website, but at least you can argue semantics.

  25. ralfast Says:

The ‘101st Fighting Keyboarders’ must have had a fresh change of diapers. Hey, it’s easy not to have ‘any proof’ of something when you’re allergic to the idea of having a look around. Look at the implied timeline on this one, Rick !
That’s just the Yanks. I really can’t figure how it’s a mystery and surprise why transportation through certain places in the Hindu Kush are threatened. It’s not like this is a new development.

  27. DavidGT Says:

Well, sure you can’t defend any of your positions, except to say that anyone with an opposing opinion is living in a fantasy, but that’s okay. You and you pals sure are good for a laugh, I’m just relieved that you aren’t, and won’t, ever be in a position of power where you can actually manifest your skewed perspectives into any kind of reality.
Are you losing sleep at night now that your friends in Palestine are reaping what they sow? It seems that you’re on the wrong side of things. Hey, as long as you’re okay with that, I’m okay with that.
I’ll sleep well at night with “blood on my hands” while you drone on here with your teenage anger. Be ready, Rick, you may have to strap on the next bomb vest and go self-detonate somewhere in order to stand up for your struggle against the oppressive powers that be! Take care, you fascist moron.

  28. RickB Says:

Stop proving me right, you’re making my replies redundant!
And really David c’mon you do kinda enjoy this fight? Don’t be a stranger.

  29. RickB Says:

Opit, good links, the water issue is really sinister remember

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.

    –60 Minutes (5/12/96)

and…did you know ‘Khyber Pass’ became Brit rhyming slang for ‘Arse’/ass? (Also see ‘Carry On Up The Khyber‘ if only the Pentagon had they’d be doing things differently -and about dubya’s level).

  30. ralfast Says:

Hey Mike, bring your facts to the table and not neocon talking points and we will see what is what. But then again, fans of collective punishment like yourself are not much into facts, now are ya?
