If…Burma

Following the events is perhaps less important than influencing them, tired of seeing “if Burma” in news articles, let’s dump the “if” and get on with making the military realise a crackdown is untenable and talks to move into a democracy are the only way forward (and after that we can help Burma resist the clutches of neo-liberal tyranny, for now let’s stop people getting killed). Gordon Brown claims Aung San Suu Kyi is a hero of his, so remind him to stand by his heroes –No. 10 contact page. Use the Dirty List (see comments for emails that are bouncing/undeliverable) and follow the instructions, go to the Burma campaign for demo and writing details. Now is not the time to consume news, it is time to make it.

Update: I will post responses in comments.
