…the biggest NGO delegation in Bali is the lobbying group, the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA). With 336 representatives including lawyers, financiers, emissions traders, consultants, certifiers and emissions trading experts from companies like Shell, the IETA makes up 7.5% of the 4483 Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) delegates registered to attend the UN climate talks.
The IETA totally dwarfs even the largest environmental groups like WWF (2%), Greenpeace (1.6%), Friends of the Earth (1.52%) as well as big development organisations like Oxfam (1.31%).

Just stopping in to say hello. I don’t have anything constructive to contribute – but I am reading – keep on blogging!

Hello!
Well you know, letting me know you are mooching around having a look is plenty constructive, thanks. I think maybe blogs need a little button on posts you could click saying ‘yeah, with you on that’ or some such message because I know myself you read all over the place and often don’t leave a footprint so in a way there is an absence of an arena for showing a sort of ‘applause’ sentiment (and I suppose boos and a slow-Boring!- hand clap). Because you don’t always have the time or the working brain to write a comment so it ends up you leave nothing but you feel like it would be nice to be able to just give a nod or something, quick and simply with a click without all the palaver of typing in boxes and stuff. There is probably something that does that but I haven’t seen it, or if not, someone invent it quick.
So hey, you’ve been a fantastic audience, I’ll be here all week, try the veal.

I love it LOL. Yeah, sometimes I just don’t have a thing to add….I really like the idea of a button – kind of like a buzzer on buzzflash. Maybe blogger will think about it!
While I’m here, you might notice me prostituting my blog tonight. I’m pissed off and I’m just gettin’ started! I’m trying to get a blog burst going about recruitment of minors. The post is up on my blog Truth in Recruiting. I might cross post it, but I haven’t decided yet.
The veal was delicious! Next time though, be sure to get a better wine selection.

Yeah if I go to an installed wordpress and a hosted server I might see if such a boondoggle could be made.
